Recognized globally as the best Science curriculum, Singapore Science helped Singapore pupils garner the highest scores in Mathematics based on studies by the Trends International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMMS) in 2003.

From the 46 countries that participated in TIMSS, Singapore’s 4th grade pupils placed first with an average score of 594 – way above the overall average of 495. The Philippines ranked 23rd with an average of 358.
